The Minnesota Eye Foundation Charity Outreach Program held it’s 4th Strides 4 Sight 5K Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run on October 8th, 2017.
Vision is our most valued sense. Each year, millions of people are affected by deteriorating or diminished vision. The Vision Project strives to enhance people’s lives by preserving and restoring vision. By supporting or participating in Strides 4 Sight, your investment will make a significant impact in delivering eye care to those in need.
Under the Minnesota Eye Foundation charity outreach program (The Vision Project, formerly Operation Eyesight), the surgeons of Minnesota Eye Consultants provide a variety of eye care surgeries free of charge, to those who may not otherwise be able to afford the care they need. These patients range from cataract patients to very complex corneal procedures, to glaucoma and oculoplastic procedures. All items are covered, including the facility fee, anesthesia and the physician’s time and expertise.
100% of the proceeds from the Strides 4 Sight 5K Walk/Run will directly benefit the members of our community who cannot otherwise afford surgical and medical care so desperately needed.
