- For Pre-registered & same-day registration
- 8:30 AM – Kids Fun Run
- Silent Auction Items on Display
- 9:00 AM – 5k Walk/Run
- 10:00 AM – Award Ceremony
SPECIAL PROMOTION: Register a Group of 4 or MORE people together between now to Friday evening, September 27 and receive 50% off registration.
NOTE: Processing fees still apply for registration. Day of Registration will be $15 per child and $40 per adult, discounts will not apply on September 29.
5K Run & Walk Registration
$35 per 5K Run/Walk Registration Fee*
*NOTE: Pre-Registration will close on Friday evening at 11:59 PM. You can still register on the day of the race: $40/person. Cash/check only accepted the day of.
- Participants receive Unisex T-shirt and Race Bib.
- Approximate $4.00 processing fee for each $30 5K Walk/Run registration
Kids Fun Run Registration
Kids ages 12 and under
$15 per Kids Fun Run Registration*
*NOTE: Pre-Registration will close on Friday evening at 11:59 PM. You can still register on the day of the race. Cash/check only accepted the day of.
- T-shirts and Goody bags for all Kids Fun Run Pre-registrants before September 28
- Approximately $3.00 processing fee for each $15 Kids Fun Run registration
- Shirts may not be available for Day of Registrants
- Kids’ activities will include face painting, DJ music, lawn games, tattoos and more!
- All kids participating in the Kids Fun Run will receive a Ribbon!
Silent Auction
This year’s Silent Auction will be one for the record books! We are excited to host the largest Strides 4 Sight Silent Auction to date, with items falling into a large range of categories and prices. This year’s auction will be available online and in-person.
The ONLINE Auction will start Friday, September 27 at 10am and close Monday, September 30 at 10am.
Items will be available at the event and if the bidder chooses to buy for a “Want It Now” price, the bidder will be able to pay onsite and bring home the item home that day.
All proceeds will assist with The Vision Project and add to the fundraising efforts of Strides 4 Sight. Cash, Check and Online payment will be accepted.
PARKING INFORMATION
There are two parking lots available – one on the North side of the lake (off of West 84th Street), and one off the West side (off Chalet Road). The larger lot is off Chalet Rd, and there is a little bit of a walk to the bandshell. The North lot is slightly smaller, but has a shorter walk to the bandshell. (See the map to the right.)
