WHAT IS STRIDES 4 SIGHT?
Strides 4 Sight is an annual 5K Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run hosted by the Minnesota Eye Foundation’s in support of The Vision Project.
The Minnesota Eye Foundation created the Strides 4 Sight 5K Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run in 2014 to increase awareness and funding for The Vision Project. The event is a volunteer effort led by the Minnesota Eye Foundation and Strides 4 Sight Committee, a group of volunteers dedicated to making a difference throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
Vision is our most valued sense – each year, millions of people are affected by deteriorating or diminished eyesight. Our mission in hosting this annual event to educate and inspire the community about the gift of sight and build awareness for The Vision Project.

- 5k Walk/Run – 9am
- Registration Fee: $25 per Registration / $10 per Kids Fun
- T-shirts for all pre-registrants
- Goody bag for Kids Fun Run pre-registrants
Registration opens 3 months prior to the start of the race – individual registration costs $25 and is a two-step process:
Registration opens 3 months prior to the start of the race – team registration costs $100 for team of 5 individuals or less. If you would like to register a team of more than 5 individuals, please add an additional $20 for each additional individuals.
Participating as a sponsor directly impacts the lives of individuals in our community. Proceeds from Strides 4 Sight allow the Minnesota Eye Foundation to increase its outreach efforts and expand the scope of The Vision Project.
